Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This long-term position provides an opportunity to support the financial operations of the organization by overseeing accounts payable, payroll, and related processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and review vendor invoices and credit card statements, ensuring accurate coding and proper account posting. u2022 Manage manual and automated check runs, following organizational policies for authorization and approvals. u2022 File monthly sales tax returns and workersu2019 compensation information using appropriate platforms. u2022 Deposit and record member payments, maintaining accurate accounts receivable records. u2022 Handle inter-club billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll, including compiling and posting payroll data into the accounting system. u2022 Update employee files with garnishments, insurance, and pension plans while maintaining confidentiality. u2022 Work with the HR Manager to ensure payroll and employee records are current and compliant. u2022 Assist with month-end close procedures and perform reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable, payroll, and invoice processing. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work effectively with accounting software. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Knowledge of filing sales tax returns and workers' compensation information. u2022 Familiarity with processing check runs and coding invoices. u2022 Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management skills. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.
