Hiring 1st and 2nd shift Production Worker / Forklift Operator in Mifflintown, PA Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler on the 1st and 2nd shift. You will play a crucial role in ensuring products are handled properly through tasks such as loading, unloading, weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, and labeling of pallets. You will be responsible for palletizing frozen meat from the chest freezer and placing them on pallets for shipment, as well as operating a sit-down forklift to move products efficiently. Responsibilities + Load and unload products efficiently and safely. + Weigh, bag, pack, unpack, and label pallets accurately. + Palletize frozen meat from the chest freezer. + Operate a sit-down forklift to transport products. + Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with safety regulations. Essential Skills + Experience in warehouse operations and general labor. + Proficiency in material handling and lifting. + Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively. Shift & Pay: + Monday - Friday (7am - 3:3pm) Pay: $19.42 + Monday - Friday (3pm - 11:30pm) Pay: $20.17 Work Environment Work in a colder environment due to handling frozen materials, with temperatures ranging from 50 degrees in winter to 80 degrees in summer. Be prepared for a strong smell associated with frozen meat as you handle totes of chicken parts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mifflintown, PA.
