Certified Nursing Assistant - PDN ApplyRefer a FriendBack Job Details Requisition #: 210202 Location: Du Bois, PA 15801 Category: CNA Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Position Details Starting rate: $14 an hour Essential Job Functions u2022 Perform, assist, evaluate and document medical care, such as: o Basic first aid taking weight and vital signs o Ambulation, transfer and positioning with wheelchairs and other non-life support medical equipment and devices o Prepare meals according to dietary and nutritional needs u2022 Help patient maintain good personal hygiene, such as: o Assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, shaving, skin and nail care, oral hygiene, dressing and eating o Observe and report significant changes in patientu2019s condition to the (RN) Nursing Supervisor Requirements u2022 High school graduate or GED u2022 Current, unrestricted certification or proof of training as required by the state u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with aide care and policies and procedures u2022u200b Valid Driveru2019s License Physical Requirements u2022 Must be able to lift 40 pounds u2022 Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting u2022 Must be able to sit and climb stairs u2022 Must have strong sense of smell and touch u2022 Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance Environment u2022 Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
