Entry-Level CNC Machinist

Schedule: Mon-Thu 7:00 AM-3:30 PM AND Fri 6:00 AM-2:30 PMPay: $18.00/hrLocation: Lincoln, NE Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated CNC Machinist to join our the manufacturing/production team of a local company. This is a full-time position offering steady hours, hands-on training, and long-term growth potential for individuals interested in manufacturing, machining, and CNC technology. No prior CNC experience is required — we will train the right person. About the Role As a CNC Machinist/CNC Operator, you will run a CNC machine to process sheet goods and produce precision components. You’ll work closely with a production team to ensure accurate, efficient output that supports overall manufacturing workflow. Key Responsibilities Operate a CNC machine to cut and process materials for production Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with support from a CNC technician Identify, select, and load correct materials for each job Operate a forklift to move and stage materials Recognize when tooling needs to be changed and perform adjustments as needed Follow production schedules and meet realistic deadlines Support general manufacturing/production tasks as needed Requirements Previous experience in manufacturing or production setting required Previous experience with forklift operation required Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively Must be able to stand for a full 8-10 hour shift Previous experience with CNC Machining preferred, but not required Safe and confident use of power tools Who Thrives Here This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and learning new technical skills.
