Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires expertise in managing financial records, preparing reconciliations, and supporting the month-end closing process. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and execute month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. u2022 Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded and reconciled. u2022 Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining compliance with accounting principles. u2022 Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations to validate transactions and ensure accuracy. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. u2022 Provide support for audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. u2022 Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for reporting purposes. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounting with a focus on month-end close and reconciliations. u2022 Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and journal entries. u2022 Proficiency in conducting detailed account and bank reconciliations. u2022 Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards. u2022 Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
