CNC Process Engineer

Description Responsibilities: u00b7 Use blueprints, specifications, work orders, drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances to develop complete print to start of production parts. u00b7 Develop efficient material flows, new part cost estimates, and procedures for new and current processes. u00b7 Develop processes with goal of lights out production. u00b7 Detect and troubleshoot system malfunctions through taking measurements, adjusting offsets, and closely monitoring tooling, grinding, grooving, drilling, turning, and cutting. u00b7 Use lean manufacturing principles to drive process improvements and actively track production inefficiencies. u00b7 Adhere to all company, local, state, federal protocol, and safety regulations. u00b7 Develop and actively participate with multiple department personnel in regular preventative measures for issues during the life of the process. u00b7 Mentor team members and actively engage operators in continuous improvement efforts and accurately document daily process issues. u00b7 Accomplish company objectives via accepting responsibilities for completing innovative and new requests while also exploring value adding opportunities. u00b7 Approach all tasks assigned with a positive can-do attitude. u00b7 Create and maintain shop documentations to include process flow, work instructions change requests, tooling lists, material costs, cycle time studies, tool paths and offsets. u00b7 Maintaining an efficient, clean, and organized workspace. u00b7 Actively work with machine vendors to schedule integrations and deal with warranty and service issues. Qualifications: u00b7 BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or Technical related field preferred. u00b7 At least 5 yearsu2019 experience in manufacturing as a process engineer in a CNC environment preferred. u00b7 Understanding of SolidWorks, Mastercam and MS Office. u00b7 Experience in tooling design and fixture development a plus. u00b7 Experience with 5 axis Mills and Lathes. u00b7 Experience with CMMu2019s and other measuring equipment a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hendersonville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
