Low Voltage Technician

Job Title: Low Voltage Tech Job Description Join our team as a Low Voltage Technician, where you'll play a critical role in cable installation and maintenance. As a Cable Tech 1, you'll be responsible for pulling cables, assisting Tech 2, and running materials. Your expertise with hand and power tools, along with your ability to climb ladders, will be essential for success in this role. Responsibilities + Pull and install CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cables + Assist higher-level technicians with projects + Run and handle materials required for installations + Utilize hand and power tools effectively + Climb ladders and work at heights safely + Terminate fiber and test copper cables + Install cable trays, ladder racks, and j-hooks + Assemble racks and conduit + Operate scissor lifts and other equipment + Ensure compliance with OSHA standards Essential Skills + 1+ years of experience in telecom/cable installation preferred + Ability to lift 75 lbs + Valid driver's license + Proficiency with hand and power tools + Skill in interpreting blueprints and project documents + Knowledge of universal communications color codes + OSHA and lift certification Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with structured cabling and cable pathways + Ability to work in a hot environment without AC + Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE requirements Why Work Here? The work schedule is from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. The work environment can be hot as there is no AC yet, and you must adhere to a dress code that includes steel toe boots and PPE such as safety vests, gloves, and safety glasses, which are provided on-site. Onsite orientations are conducted Monday through Friday at 7 am and 11 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Litchfield Park, AZ.
