Cook u2013 $15/hr Spencer, OK Contract-to-Hire Health Facility Kitchen Shift : 5am-1pm We are seeking experienced and dependable cooks to join a high-performing kitchen team within a healthcare facility. This role plays a key part in preparing meals for 700+ individuals daily , supporting both patient care and hospital operations. If you excel in high-volume cooking and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this is an excellent opportunity. About the Role This is a back-of-house position focused on large-scale meal preparation. You will work in a busy hospital kitchen environment where accuracy, teamwork, and consistency are essential. Candidates must be able to manage high-batch cooking demands while maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities + Prepare large-batch meals for patients, staff, and visitors + Work exclusively in the back of house + Follow recipes and meal tickets accurately + Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols + Maintain open availability for 8-hour shifts between 5:30AM and 9PM + Participate in rotating weekend shifts, in addition to Mondayu2013Friday scheduling Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years of experience in large-scale or commercial cooking + Ability to read and interpret recipes and meal tickets + Effective verbal and written communication in English Preferred Qualifications + Experience in healthcare kitchens, high-end restaurants, hotels, or schools + Strong multitasking skills and comfort working in high-demand environments Why Work Here?
