Job Description The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Highschool Intern for our Columbus, Ohio office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting and challenging projects on the local and national level, including the Brent Spence Corridor project where AECOM is functioning as the lead designer. The intern can look forward to projects including highway and bridge-related design. Example Activities: + Perform design calculations for highway and bridge design projects. + Design in AutoCAD and MicroStation. + Assist the project manager/project engineer in the preparation of planning documents. + Assist the project manager/project engineer in the development of construction documents to include Civil drawings and technical specifications. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: + Must have completed a year of Highschool and is currently enrolled + Due to the nature of this position, U.S. citizenship is required Preferred Qualifications: + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite + Familiarity with CADD Additional Information + Relocation is not available for this position. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $15.58 to $21.42.
