Our client, enterprise banking, is seeking a Consumer Lending Business Systems Analyst to join their team. Location: Remote USA Rate: $45-$50hr W2 Overview The Business Systems Analyst will support BMOu2019s branch acquisition initiative by enabling new states to be implemented within legacy applications and platforms. This role focuses heavily on Microsoft Access, database modification, requirements gathering, and creating clear documentation and JIRA stories to support development teams. The BSA will also represent the team on project calls, perform standard testing, and ensure seamless integration of state-by-state enhancements into existing systems. Key Responsibilities + Gather, document, and validate business requirements for new state implementations. + Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and tasks within JIRA . + Perform database analysis and updates using Microsoft Access , SQL , and DB2 queries. + Generate status reports, project updates, and communicate progress to stakeholders. + Represent the team on cross-functional project calls. + Conduct standard testing activities including unit testing and GUI validation. + Partner with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly translated into technical specifications. + Support troubleshooting and investigation of issues across legacy systems. Required Skills & Experience + Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Access . + Solid SQL querying ability; familiarity with DB2 preferred. + Experience writing clear requirements, stories, and documentation. + Prior work using JIRA or similar work-management platforms. + Ability to edit and validate database structures and data sets. + Experience with unit testing and GUI testing practices. + Strong communication skills; comfortable representing the team on project calls. Nice to Have + Experience in financial services or consumer banking. + Background working with legacy platforms or multi-state system configurations.
