JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Vertiv's GlobalStrategic Account (GSA) organization is hiring Project Manager to leadprojects for critical infrastructure and data center projects nationallyfor our thermal, power, battery, and monitoring products. As a ProjectManager, you will work on complex initiatives pertaining to internal/external projects. You will need the business acumen to independentlypull together groups needed to resolve complex issues. This person willfocus on establishing relationships and processes from pre-sales throughequipment commissioning to ensure a smooth repeatable process isestablished, implemented, and followed. This job requires effectivecommunication with all levels of multiple organizations. This personwill also focus on our digital platforms, mainly Oracle, Smartsheet andPower BI which is used to aid in the execution of our business.RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize standard Project Management tools to conductthe project effectively, achieving quality, financial and scheduletargets. Define and obtain the appropriate resources required tofulfill the project scope of work. Work with all functional groupleaders to develop the project organizational resource chart. Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics,contractors, services, and warranty groups throughout the project,escalating potential conflicts to avoid impact to the customer. Workclosely with the jobsite and field resources to ensure understanding andcommunication of the schedule, budget, and scope. Visit the siteperiodically to establish relationships with key contractor and customerpersonnel. Escalate and create urgency around any issues that wouldimpede the success of the project. Ensure that issues are resolved in atimely manner and communicated to the stakeholders. Must have ability tocommunicate effectively, including conducting effective meetings andpresentations. Must be able to identify risks and proactivelymitigate those risks before they become issues. Be able to executecomplex, high value projects independently. Follow reporting andtracking programs to assure the project is on target for quality,schedule, and cost targets. Responsible for the financial performanceon assigned projects. Must be able to create cost budget, track andinvestigate spend and maintain established margins on project. Beproactive in establishing a culture of Safety for each project. Hostperiodic safety meetings to ensure the project is always consideringsafety first. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: 3 years ofproject management experience, critical infrastructure expertise withUPS, thermal, battery and monitoring is a plus. Knowledge ofelectrical and mechanical contracting. Excellent communicationskills, both written and verbal. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent project management skills. Detail-oriented. Excellentorganizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to workand multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree orequivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge ofengineering, manufacturing processes, data center infrastructure andcommissioning processes. Project Management Professional (PMP)preferred.
