JOB REQUIREMENTS: Current Employees: If you are currently employed atany of the Universities of Wisconsin, log in to Jobs Hub to applythrough the internal application process.Job Category:AcademicStaffEmployment Type:Terminal (Fixed Term)Job Profile:RegulatoryCoordinatorJob Summary: The Department of Medicine (DOM) Office ofResearch Services (ORS) is seeking a Regulatory Coordinator to providecomprehensive support services to faculty conducting clinical research.This position will work closely with investigators, researchcoordinators, industry sponsors, contract research organizations andothers to coordinate the preparation of documents necessary to obtainand maintain protocol approval from various Institutional Review Boards(e.g., UW Health Sciences, commercial, VA) and research oversightbodies. The DOM ORS supports clinical research professionals andparticipants in advancing medical discovery to improve health outcomesacross Wisconsin and beyond. ORS provides expert guidance, resources,and infrastructure to facilitate high-quality clinical trials and fostercollaboration among investigators, industry partners, and researchteams. The Regulatory Coordinator will be expected to serve in a varietyof capacities, including but not limited to, preparation and submissionof protocols and compliance documents, tracking and meeting renewaldeadlines, collection and maintenance of research records and consentdocumentation, review of study proposals to ensure compliance, andtraining of new investigators and staff on regulatory requirements. Theywill report to the DOM Regulatory Manager. This position may requiresome work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus worklocation. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campuswork location. Terminal, 24 month appointment This position has thepossibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment basedon need and/or funding.
