Understand and enthusiastically instruct participating students in the curriculum and activities.```{=html}```1. Be willing and able to work with all students in grades K-8.```{=html}```1. Set up and break down chairs and tables as needed.u00a0Qualifications:- Must be of 18 years of age or older```{=html}```- Must obtain State, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint, and National Sex Offender Registry clearances as well as provide proof of Mandated Reporteru00a0Training;u00a0CPR training```{=html}```- Mustu00a0possessu00a0the ability to effectively communicate with children ages 4-14u00a0while also providing necessary instruction to students```{=html}```- Must be able to provide adequateu00a0supervision and support to multiple kidsu00a0atu00a0au00a0time```{=html}```- Mustu00a0possessu00a0strength and enduranceu00a0requiredu00a0tou00a0maintainu00a0constant supervision of students```{=html}```- Be aware that the physical requirements of the job include being on your feet most of the day, walking up and downu00a0numerousu00a0staircases, and walking throughout the (hilly) Hazelwood neighborhood```{=html}```- Be willing to help break down and set up tables and chairs in shared Hall space at the beginning and end of day, as needed```{=html}```- In addition, the indoor classrooms are unfortunately not climate controlled (no A/C)```{=html}```- Mustu00a0possessu00a0knowledge and skill in academic areas, including but not limited to math and reading```{=html}```- Must be able to escort/walk students to local playgrounds while ensuring their safety```{=html}```- Must be willing and able to follow all Center of Life COVID guidelinesu00a0pertaining tou00a0safety issues dealing with COVID-19.u00a0Preferred Qualifications:- Associate'su00a0degree in Educationu00a0OR au00a0Bachelor'su00a0degree```{=html}```- Minimum of two years of experience in the realm of education (e.g. within a classroom or other formal youth development/teaching/education arena)```{=html}```- Formal teaching experience within a classroom setting ORu00a0experienceu00a0as a camp counselor in a role that required you to plan and write activities```{=html}```- Formal teaching and/or education training (e.g. minor in Education or college-level classes taken)```{=html}```- Behavior specialist or Counselor experience/education/etc.
