As a Lobby Lounge Cocktail Server atThe Pfister Hotel, you will be responsible for delivering timely,professional, and personable service to ensure every guest enjoys anelevated and memorable lounge experience. The hotel is one of only 11 properties throughout North Americato maintain the AAA Four Diamond designation since the inception of theDiamond Rating program in 1976.What you will be doing: Greet guestswith warmth, explain specials and promotions, and assist withrecommendations of beverages and food options. Take accurate orders,input them into the POS system, and coordinate with bartenders to ensuretimely service. Serve beverages with appropriate garnishes and snackswhile maintaining accuracy and presentation standards. Check backwith guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and anticipate theirneeds. Present checks promptly, handle cash and card transactionswith accuracy, and properly balance self-banked funds. Maintaincleanliness of service stations, tables, chairs, and lounge areasthroughout the shift. Restock and organize supplies includingglassware, napkins, straws, and condiments. Clear and reset tablesquickly and efficiently. Adhere to all state, federal, and corporateliquor laws and regulations, ensuring responsible service of alcohol. Support team members and bartenders to ensure seamless loungeoperations. Perform other duties as assigned to support the loungeand hotel.Position Requirements: 1 year of cocktail servingexperience required in a high-volume lounge or bar. Strong knowledgeof spirits, beer, and wine with the ability to describe and recommendselections. Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-pacedenvironment while maintaining engaging service. Strong cash handlingand self-banking skills, with the ability to balance funds accurately. Ability to carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs. and navigate through acrowded lounge. Excellent communication skills with the ability toread, write, and speak English fluently. TIPS certificationpreferred; bartending certification a plus.
