JOB REQUIREMENTS: Interstate Power System's is looking for First andSecond Shift Journeyman Diesel Truck Mechanic/Technician(s) for ourButler Wisconsin location. We are currently seeking Journeyman DieselMechanic/Technician(s) to join our team who are specializing inFreightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products, MTU and more Weare offering highly competitive wages A Journeyman Diesel TruckTechnician will be a resident expert within their assigned field. Theywill have the ability to work a job from start to finish independentlyfrom assignment. Has expertise on all internal systems within their jobscope. A Journeyman will mentor other employees by providing trainingand guidance on use of internal systems. This individual willproactively identify improvements, responds in times of need, and makesthemselves available to service team. A Journeyman will have more than 5years' experience as a mechanic in the heavy-duty truck industry.Diesel Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, andmaintaining diesel engines and related components in trucks, buses, andother heavy-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strongmechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and a passion for working withdiesel engines. Most repairs taking place will be done at customerslocation or roadside. Communicateeffectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding thoserepairs. Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customersatisfaction.
