This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $20K FTE:0.875 Standard Hours: 35.00 Shift: Shift 3 Shift Details: 7 Days on 7Days off from 830p to 830a Holidays: Yes, for on weeks Weekends: Yes,for on weeks Job Summary: At the direction of a radiologist or otherproviders, prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures indiagnostic radiology and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnosticstudies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols whileutilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres toorganizational customer service standards and supports theorganizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effectiveinteraction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas asnecessary. Other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One year ofcurrent clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year ofcurrent clinical experience. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Post high schoolcompletion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program isrequired. An additional 1-2 years of college/university courseworkand/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field ispreferred but not required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Self-motivated;ability to organize and prioritize well; ability to remain flexible andto reorganize priorities when emergencies arise. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WIlicense as a Radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA)Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approvedequivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
