Job Description

Job Title: Print Production Level 2 Location: Cleveland, OH Job Type: Hourly Consultant Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm Pay: 25.88 - $28.57 per hour Essential Functions: + Perform intermediate-level document assembly, finishing, and production tasks in a high-volume print environment. + Serve as the primary point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer print and production requests. + Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobs to ensure timely completion and delivery. + Operate high-volume printers, copiers, and standard finishing equipment (cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers, folding and mail equipment). + Inspect files for quality issues including fonts, image resolution, and alignment prior to production. + Integrate variable data into print templates and perform file/document conversions using standard software. + Sort, scan, and index hardcopy materials into digital formats; archive and store files for future reuse and backup. + Perform quality inspections before, during, and after each production run to ensure accuracy and output standards. + Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished materials. + Maintain production logs, reporting data, and billing information. + Maintain inventory of supplies and distribute materials as needed. + Process incoming/outgoing faxes and maintain logs for billing. + Apply asset tags to office equipment and update asset databases; coordinate moves, adds, and changes. + Collect and submit equipment meter reads. + Perform operator-level equipment maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting; escalate issues to service personnel as needed. + Provide minimal training to end users on equipment operation. + Support problem resolution to meet production, delivery, and customer requirements. + Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Skills: + Proficient computer skills and functional knowledge of PC operations (keyboard, mouse, file management). + Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including: + Creating spreadsheets and using standard formulas + Sorting, filtering, and generating basic charts + Importing/exporting data and embedding files + Moving data between Word and Excel + Ability to navigate network environments, access shared drives, and manage print devices. + Experience sending/receiving email, managing electronic documents, and performing data entry. + Internet and web navigation skills. + Basic math skills (multiplication, division, percentages). + Ability to configure printer settings and manage PC-to-printer connectivity. + Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality control. + Professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation. Experience: + Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or production support environment. + Experience in print production, copy services, or document management preferred. Education: + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Post-secondary technical training or equivalent hands-on technology experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
