Job Description PRIMARY PURPOSE This position is responsible using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble components. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES uf0b7Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures uf0b7Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies uf0b7Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol uf0b7Make sure that schedules are being ran exactly as they are listed uf0b7Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) uf0b7Turn off equipment when not in use uf0b7Attention to detail in a fast paced environment The starting hourly rate of this position is $17.00 General Responsibilities: u2022 Follow detailed assembly, teardown and test instructions, processes and procedures of pneumatic valves u2022 Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol u2022 Make sure that schedules are being ran exactly as they are listed u2022 Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) u2022 Turn off equipment when not in use u2022 Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES uf0b7Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum education, job experience, certifications, skills, knowledge and abilities that incumbent must typically have to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably with or without a reasonable accommodation. uf0b7High school degree or equivalent uf0b7Knowledge of basic mechanics. Knowledge of machine testing procedures. Specialized equipment used in this job uf0b7Hand tools Able to perform in 1 of the 3 departments: Teardown, Assembly, Testing Job Duties in each: Teardown- u2022 Buffing, washing, and blowout station Adder Pay: Disassemble components following standard operating procedures. Assembly- u2022 Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assembly Testing- u2022 Test various components per test code, following standard operating procedures. Adder Pay: Operate break cylinder cell Other skills and qualifications uf0b7Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required uf0b7Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. uf0b7Perform the same task repeatedly PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS Continuous mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness to monitor the production process and/or identify defects to standards.
