Senior Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant to join a growing organization. This role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise and strong collaboration skills to ensure the efficient management of financial processes. The ideal candidate will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Supervise invoicing and collections processes to maintain efficient cash flow operations. u2022 Review and code accounts payable transactions while ensuring proper documentation. u2022 Perform payroll management tasks and maintain accurate schedules offline. u2022 Reconcile balance sheet accounts to verify completeness and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Post and review journal entries to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded. u2022 Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for reporting purposes. u2022 Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and reports are accurate. u2022 Collaborate with various departments to enhance accounting workflows and improve overall efficiency. Requirements u2022 A minimum of three years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is preferred. u2022 Proficiency in Excel and other Office applications. u2022 Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. u2022 Experience with inventory accounting and revenue recognition principles. u2022 Ability to perform detailed financial analysis and variance reporting. u2022 Expertise in preparing and reconciling balance sheets and journal entries. u2022 Proven ability to lead month-end close procedures and streamline accounting operations.
