Position SummaryResponsible for coordinating and scheduling the operation of cutting, processing, and fabrication equipment to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines. Their duties include reviewing work orders, selecting appropriate machines and tooling, optimizing production sequences for efficiency, and ensuring compliance with strict aerospace quality standards. They work closely with production teams to minimize downtime, manage material flow, and maintain accurate records of machine usage and output. Additionally, they play a key role in balancing capacity planning with urgent customer requirements, ensuring precision and reliability in every step of the process.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLay out material on machines to ensure all sales order requirements are metSchedule all workload for designated area.Lay out, monitor, and finalize all outside processing job sets as required.Monitormaintain required contract account stock levels.Assist to ensure Quality Control receives information regarding u0026ldquo;positive recallu0026rdquo; orders.Assist to ensure Quality Control receives samples as required for testing.Work with the sales department regarding the status of sales orders.Maintain Order Changes folderWork closely with the shop floor personnel to resolve paperwork and material issues.Create stock transfer orders as needed.Finalize MP's or assist shop floor personnel as needed.Back-up shipment lists for contract, and large-volume customers.Perform all additional duties as requested by manager.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job requires no supervision of direct reports.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
