Quality Technician - 1st Shift

UPM Quality Technician performs tasks to inspect and test product to ensure it meets the Quality parameters set forth by United Performance Metals and that each shipment conforms to all specified agreed customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.Daily Activities Include:Material Tensile TestingMaterial hardness testingMaterial bend testingReceiving and final inspectionPrepare shipment material certificationsReview product certifications for release acceptance or discrepancy resolution.Identify and quarantine nonconforming spect and resolve questionable material issues involving product integrity.Conduct inspection of product when required or requested. Assist with inspection layout and set-up as needed.Maintain a full understanding of United Performance Metals' Quality Manual, Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions: How they relate to Aerospace and ISO requirementsProcess and administer requests for certification updates.Support sales with certification and compliance requests.Other duties as assigned.Required ExperienceAble to use micrometers, verniers, and computer inspection equipmentPreferred ExperienceManufacturing related experienceWe have Great Benefits:3+weeks of PTOPaid HolidaysMedical, Vision, & Dental Insurance401k MatchQuarterly bonusesTuition Reimbursement
