Engineer - TechOps Repair Engineering

How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) ThisEngineer position operates within the Delta TechOpsu2019 Repair EngineeringOrganization, focusing on engine/propulsion piece part repairs. This positionprovides technical support for turbofan engine MRO (Maintenance, Repair,Overhaul) activities in one or more areas; Repair Development, New ProductIntroduction, Process Engineering, or Engine Production Shop Support. Responsibilitiesinclude: + Work directly with engine maintenance, engineering teammembers, and engineering management regarding all aspects of turbofan enginecomponents + Evaluate damage conditions on turbofan engine components todevelop and substantiate repairs and develop process improvements/solutions + Define scope of work for development projects, includingequipment, tooling and labor requirements + Establish and maintain schedules that achieve definedobjectives, including breakdown of tasks and associated resources fromconceptualization to industrialization + Work directly with OEMs to secure Source-Repair approvalfor Delta TechOps + Collaborate with Deltau2019s SMEs and ODA to developsubstantiation and regulatory compliance plans + Perform testing, calculations and industrialization ofrepair design + Organize and/or prepare all relevant reports, drawings,and engineering authorizations for assigned projects + Assist in the formulation of business case justificationsand bids to bring to MRO work into Delta TechOps What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Project management experience; strong relationshipmanagement skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills;multi-tasking abilities; proven results-orientation; and strong analytical, organizationaland time management skills + Strong leadership attributes, with the ability to influence andgain support via mutual respect + Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) + High School diploma or GED equivalent + Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles + Consistently makes safety and security, of self andothers, the priority + Compensation and title based upon experience level + Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possessesa high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Isat least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
