( Purpose of Role Under Armour is embarking on a multiyear global transformation from SAP FMS to SAP S/4HANA for Fashion & Vertical Business to modernize our core processes across Finance, Product, Supply Chain, Retail/Wholesale, and Digital Commerce. As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will be the end-to-end architecture lead for both transformation and run model of SAP S/4HANA in a standard-first mindset. You will map current and target business processes to SAP standard capabilities, applying a fit-to-standard design and rare, value-backed exception approval. You will be designing an SAP Clean Core target state, guiding execution through go-live and hypercare, and then advancing a durable run/operate model and multiyear roadmap that maximizes value from the SAP platform - S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration, SAP GTS, SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Youu2019ll establish best practices and strategies for Joule and other AI tooling integrated with our overall ERP environment. Youu2019ll translate complex concepts into crisp narratives, visuals, and diagrams for audiences ranging from the ELT to domain SMEs, and youu2019ll be a visible steward of UAu2019s values in how we deliver change. Your Impact + Architect the S/4HANA target state for UA and maintain a multiu2011year, valueu2011based roadmap considering the various regions supported by our global SAP deployment. + Lead fitu2011tou2011standard design and delivery using SAP Activate validating gaps against business outcomes before considering extensions. + Drive an SAP Clean Core approach via ABAP Cloud (on-stack), key-user extensibility, and side-by-side apps on SAP BTP using released APIs and business events. + Set and evangelize enterprise integration patterns on SAP Integration Suite as needed. + Orchestrate data migration and cutover for FMS to S/4 Fashion including a stable hypercare phase. + Assist in maturing the SAP Center of Excellence operating model for continuous value realization. + Define release/change governance, observability, and security/GRC controls in partnership with Security and Finance. + Embed KPIs and leverage SAP Analytics cloud to track benefits (e.g., close velocity, ATP effectiveness, inventory turns) and inform next investments. + Produce executiveu2011ready narratives, capability maps, and architecture diagrams that clarify choices and tradeu2011offs while upholding ARB standards and guardrails. + Mentor solution architects and engineers to scale modern architecture practices and documentation quality. + Align decisions with stakeholders across Finance, Product & Supply Chain, Retail/DTC/Wholesale, Regions, and Global Technology towers. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent experience of 15+ years designing and delivering largeu2011scale SAP solutions + 5+ years handsu2011on architectural leadership with SAP S/4HANA (including at least one endu2011tou2011end S/4 Fashion/Retail implementation or brownfield conversion) with clear evidence of value realization in run. + Expertu2011level knowledge across core and fashion/retail domains: FI/CO, OTC/SD, PTP/MM, RTR, seasons/collections, styleu2011coloru2011size, allocation, ATP, Supply Protection, CAR, EWM, TM, GTS E4H, Ariba, SAC. + Proven success implementing and operating SAP in a Clean Core model: extension patterns on SAP BTP, Fiori adoption, test automation, release/change governance, security & GRC controls. + Deep integration architecture experience: SAP Integration Suite (CPI/IS), SAP API management (BTP) patterns, and modernization from legacy middleware onto BTP IS. + Mastery of SAP Activate (fitu2011tou2011standard, agile delivery), with the ability to plan and lead across Discover to Run and to anchor decisions in best practices and accelerators. + Demonstrated experience producing drive fitu2011tou2011standard and value identification as well as experience aligning with portfolio tooling. + Outstanding communicationu2014executive storytelling, facilitation, and diagramming (BPMN 2.0, capability maps, integration/C4 views) tailored to ELT, architects/engineers, and business SMEs. Relocation + No relocation provided Base Compensation $178,544.00-$223,180.00 USD Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
