Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Senior Configuration Professional work focuses on accessing and configuring an application or system that is integrated with business processes/data and IT infrastructure including building modules, developing tables/reports, and creating complex functions. The Senior Configuration Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This is a remote position with travel, 1 week per month, to Humana's office in Louisville, KY for training or meetings. Work hours for this position Monday u2013 Friday, 8:00 am u2013 5:00 pm EST or CST with some weekend hours required. The Senior Configuration Professional responsibilities will focus on implementing new features and changes to support operational and clinical systems. This position can include advising the business, evaluating requests, troubleshooting, resolving testing issues, configuring processes and experiences. integrating, developing interfaces, and maintaining documentation. Begins to influence departmentu2019s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications + _Epic Healthy Planet Fundamentals for Health Plans Certification or,_ + _Ability to successfully pass Epic certification exam, within 60 days of completing training - will require travel as well._ + Bachelor's degree OR 5+ years of experience related to Product Management, Health Informatics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, system configuration + Healthcare and Medicare experience + Strategic thinking and planning capabilities; organized and detail-oriented + Ability to use appropriate problem solving, research and analysis tools + Proficient with Data Analysis - Understanding Data and how to interpret and use it + Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas, and interact effectively, in both written and oral forms, with people at all levels both internal and external + Ability to perform demonstrations to various business groups and operational partners while being a confident change-agent with strong selling and presentation skills (oral and written) + Ability to identify gaps in process performance and recommend process improvements + Ability to work with internal support groups to drive business results + Must be willing to travel to Louisville monthly and as needed Preferred Qualifications + Epic Payer Platform Core Certification + Working knowledge and experience in Healthcare systems + Experience in user provisioning + EPIC analyst certification/accreditations as they related to business functions (utilization management, care management, etcu2026) + Previous experience operating in electronic health records (such as Epic, Cerner, etcu2026) + Experience building digital capabilities + Demonstrated ability to develop and lead initiatives with influence + Possess a strong attention to detail and sound follow up skills + Results driven + Ability to manage a project + Ability to lead project teams and drive implementation + Knowledge of Humana's internal policies, procedures, and system Work at Home Requirements To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employeesu2019 ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: + At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. + Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. + Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. + Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. + Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Additional Information: + _Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% (annually) for stakeholder engagement and product initiatives. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $97,900 - $133,500 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
