Engineering Intern - Summer 2026 Job Description Engineering Intern Indianapolis (Summer 2026, onsite) _Come join a team that makes a difference here and around the world_ _Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos,_ is seeking Engineering Interns for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. The Engineering Intern will report to the Engineering Director, also taking functional direction from the Chief Engineer, and operate daily out of the Indianapolis, IN facility (Mon-Fri). Summer Interns at Peerless Pump are given opportunities to participate in department projects with the goal to help expand their technical education and aid in completion of projects. At the end of the term, Interns will prepare a project status report to present to senior management within the company to explain impact of their project and receive direct feedback on performance. _Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Interns will work with staff engineers to complete assignments. Projects may involve interfacing with other departments such as machine shop, purchasing, vendors, quality, order processing and sales. _Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities_ + Preparation and modification of engineering drawings using both manual and computer-aided systems such as CATIA or AutoCAD + Preparation and modification of engineering bill of materials (BOM) in ERP system (SAP) + Support in assembly and testing of projects in the manufacturing release phase, this would include data reduction and presentation from lab + Perform work, promote teamwork and communicate in conjunction with our culture and corporate standards (Safety/Environmental, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Communication, Internal Controls, etc.). _Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations_ This position will work within the Engineering team, and collaborate internally and cross functionally with other Peerless teams.
