Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C., a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to support Attorneys and Case Analysts in our Pre-Litigation Department. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.Key Responsibilities- Manage Client Files: Organize, update, and maintain accurate and confidential client case files using the firm's case management system.- Obtain & Review Records: Request, receive, and analyze medical records, liens, and related documentation.- Draft Correspondence: Prepare letters, emails, demands, and settlement communications using approved templates.- Client & Partner Communication: Serve as a primary contact for clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and internal staff.- Support Attorneys & Case Analysts: Provide proactive administrative and case support to ensure smooth case progression.- Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality and ensure adherence to firm policies and legal standards.- Administrative Support: Assist with mail, invoices, faxing, scheduling, and general office operations.- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support firm operations.u00a0u00a0QualificationsRequired- High School Diploma or equivalent- 2--3 years of administrative or legal support experience in a high-volume office- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgmentPreferred- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or related field- Experience in legal or medical office settings- Familiarity with medical records, insurance claims, liens, and personal injury processes- Bilingual (Spanish)Skills & Competencies- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail- Strong organizational and prioritization skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively- Professional communication with clients and partners- Ability to train or mentor coworkers- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environmentPhysical & Work Environment- Frequent sitting, typing, reading, and general office tasks- Occasional lifting (10--20 lbs.)- Typical indoor office environment with occasional local travel (We are committed to delivering exceptional legal service with integrity, compassion, and excellence.
