Twin City Staffing is seeking a precision-focused toolmaker to join a high-quality manufacturing team in Minneapolis. In this role, you will create, repair, and maintain the essential dies, jigs, and fixtures that power punch press operations. (DOE) Hours: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday Thursday (3-day weekends) Benefits of the toolmaker: Health, dental, and vision insurance Disability and life insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with company match Stable 4-day work week Focused growth opportunities Duties of the toolmaker: Fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tools and progressive dies Interpret complex blueprints, CAD files, and GD&T specs Operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) Assemble, fit, and test dies for proper function and clearance Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime Modify existing fixtures to accommodate design changes Document tool builds and repairs while following safety standards Troubleshoot tool performance issues with engineering teams Requirements of the toolmaker: Tool and Die apprenticeship or technical training 3+ years of experience with progressive dies and fixtures Proficiency with grinders, mills, lathes, and CNC centers Strong knowledge of die clearances and stamping material flow Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting die wear and performance U.S. citizenship or residency required for ITAR compliance Contact Information: Apply today to join a team that values ownership and initiative To learn more, contact Alejandro at 763-200-3083.
