Job Title:Associate Product Engineer Reporting To:Lead, Technical - Solenoid Work Schedule:Onsite - Buffalo, NYMoog's Fluids Controls Group leads multi-disciplinary teams to develop solutions for complex technical applications in the rapidly growing Space Sector. In this role, you will be working on a variety of development and production programs where you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, quality, and production of assigned Space products including: Rocket engine components and fluid control devices for bi-propellant, mono-propellant and cryogenic rocket engines Valves for environmental control and life support on crewed space vehicles High performance fluid control valves and systems for other space applications To be considered for this position, here's what you'll need to bring with you: Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or comparable field of technology and 0-3 years of experience. The ability to write work instructions Working knowledge of pneumatics, pressurized systems or valve experience is preferred. Have good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with manufacturing, assembly and test teammates. Have self-starting instincts, solid analytical skills, and a strong sense of ownership for responsible products. Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. As an Associate Product Engineer in the Fluid Controls Group, you can expect to: Provide assembly/test instructions, training and monitoring to maintain production. Assure and maintain design integrity, producibility and quality in development and production products. Develop and improve tools, fixtures and test equipment. Perform engineering analysis to assess non-conformances or technical issues that occur during assembly and test. Develop RCCA analyses that ensure long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems. Contribute to customer presentations or technical review meetings. Coordinate with multiple departments to work through roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery of hardware. Participate in hands on prototyping of new products during the development phase working closely with the design team.
