JOB REQUIREMENTS: Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin.BETTER TOGETHER 0.90 FTE / 36 hours per week. The Care Team Specialist(CTS) - Clinic Coordinator assists in providing high quality patientcare including assisting patients in maintaining their physical andmental well-being. As a Clinic Coordinator, the incumbent is responsiblefor the performance of CTS duties as listed in the CTS Job Description,assisting with daily scheduling issues, systems planning, projects,clinic operations, participating in the orientation and evaluation ofthe performance of Care Team Specialist and Clinic Assistant teammembers, direct supervision of Clinic Assistant staff, and acting as apositive role model for staff. The incumbent works in a collaborativeway with the Clinic Manager, Site Chief and Reception Team Supervisorfor the assigned site. The CTS - Clinic Coordinator exercisesindependent judgment and works under general supervision of the ClinicManager. Job Specific Minimum Qualifications Must meet the requirementsfor a Medical Assistant (MA), a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or anEMT as described below: Medical Assistants must have successfullycompleted an MA training program from an accredited school or programand must be eligible for and receive national certification within six(6) months of employment or must have three years of MA experience andhave current national certification. Medical Assistants must obtainnational certification from one of the following certifyingorganizations and must maintain certification by meeting CMErequirements: National Healthcareer Association (CCMA); or AmericanAssociation of Medical Assistants (AAMA); or American Registry ofMedical Assistants (ARMA); or National Center for Competency Testing(NCCT); or By an approved and accredited certifying organization withCME requirements. Licensed Practical Nurses must have successfullycompleted an LPN training program from an accredited school or addition, LPNs must have current licensure as a practical nurse inthe State of Wisconsin or must obtain licensure as a practical nurse inthe State of Wisconsin within six (6) months of employment. EmergencyMedical Technicians (EMTs) must have successfully completed an approvedtraining program and have a valid State of Wisconsin license of one ofthe following: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); or Advanced EmergencyMedical Technician (AEMT); or Paramedic (EMT-P). Possession of oreligibility for a valid Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certificate isrequired. Employee must obtain certification within four (4) months ofemployment.
