As aSteward at Mason Street Grill, you will work behind the scenes and helpmake our restaurant the best in Milwaukee by keeping the kitchen cleanand tidy, emptying garbage cans, washing pots and pans, and loading andunloading the dishwasher. Mason Street Grill in downtown Milwaukee hasbecome a local favorite for delicious steak, handcrafted cocktails, andjazz. Whether it's the upbeat aromas, the background sounds oflive music, or the taste of a refreshing cocktail after a long day atwork, we want to make sure our guests' time with us brings them backagain and again. What you will be doing: Operate and maintain dishmachine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and anize clean dishes, unload, stack, and store them in designatedareas. Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptyinggarbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks. Ensure floor safetyby sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transport soiled ware todesignated areas. Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe downcountertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement. Setup equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating eventorder needs and performing additional assigned duties. What we arelooking for: Ability to tolerate varied working conditions. Must be ableto change activities quickly. Prior hospitality, cleaning or janitorialexperience preferred. What's in it for you?
