Education And Experience Required: u00b7 Accredited LPN Program. Licenses And Certifications Required: u00b7 Current NYS LPN License without any negative actions. u00b7 Certification to administer medications. u00b7 Current provider BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association. u00b7 Infection Control Certificate. Special Skills, Knowledge Required: u00b7 Ability to use the nursing process. u00b7 Excellent computer skills. u00b7 Excellent customer service skills. u00b7 Interviewing techniques (as this applies to interviewing patients/families for data gathering). u00b7 Strong communication and inter-professional skills. u00b7 Problem solving abilities and clinical judgement. u00b7 Bilingual or multilingual status may be required based on needs of department/organization and will be specified at the time of interview.
