Job Title: Engineering Team Lead Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None CACI is seeking a Team Lead for our engineering team. You will oversee all efforts of the team and act as the primary facilitator, communicator and coordinator between the team and our customer, program managers, leads, and stakeholders. You will manage the tasking, integration, and coordination for endpoint, platform, infrastructure, network engineering, and software application development. You will keep your initiatives on course while tracking their progress and anticipating the resource needs. You will be responsible for overseeing product development and engineering functions for integration into the enterprise level. Responsibilities may include overseeing the creation, development, and design of the products, engineering services, and research function. Other duties may include planning, directing, and controlling all activities through group leadership. Responsibilities u2022 Manage technical projects in medium-sized, complex IT environments u2022 Define, design, develop, test, and implement IT processes and services u2022 Lead and manage engineering teams to successfully design and maintain the organizationu2019s computing platform u2022 Provision, manage, deploy, and secure endpoints, with both on-premise and cloud management options u2022 Create and monitor computer networks on behalf of individual clients and organizations, ensuring that devices have stable connections and network data remains secure u2022 Track progress against customer plans u2022 Translate, analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and graphical formats u2022 Apply best practices in project management, including those used to initiate, plan, control, monitor, and report upon all phases of project to the Project Management Office and customer u2022 Actively distinguish problems and assist in implementing solutions u2022 Adapt processes to improve inefficiencies and accelerate product/capability development u2022 Proactively identify and resolve time sensitive initiative risks, issues, interdependencies, and conflicts, both within and across business units and initiatives, and coordinate implementation u2022 Manage operational aspects of the program, which include multiple ongoing projects in support of multiple major, corporate strategic initiatives. Qualifications Required: u2022 A bacheloru2019s degree preferably (BA/BS) in an IT related field u2022 Active TS/SCI with poly u2022 10+ years of related work experience u2022 Experience managing a midsize teams or multiple small projects consisting of both experienced professionals and managers u2022 Strong technical background with knowledge of servers, systems architecture, and networking u2022 Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and familiarity with cloud technologies u2022 Experience influencing others outside of job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures u2022 Knowledge of IT concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends, particularly relevant to the design of mid-scale IT environments u2022 Must remain on the client site during Program core hours of 0900-1500.
