Solution Architect Job Description & Requirements Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to bridge the gap between our laboratory's cutting-edge core technologies and real-world customer applications. This role requires cross-disciplinary technical expertise combined with exceptional customer communication skills, enabling rapid understanding of emerging technologies and their application across diverse industry verticals. Key Responsibilities Technical Solution Design + Master multiple core technologies developed in our laboratory and continuously learn new emerging technologies + Analyze technical requirements and business challenges across different industry sectors + Design technical solution architectures tailored to customer needs + Assess technical feasibility and implementation risks Customer Communication & Requirements Analysis + Conduct in-depth technical discussions and require interviews with clients across various domains + Understand industry-specific technical constraints and compliance requirements + Translate complex technical concepts into understandable business value propositions + Assist customers in evaluating ROI for technology adoption Cross-functional Collaboration + Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure solution feasibility + Partner with sales teams to provide technical support and solution recommendations + Communicate with product teams to relay customer feedback and market trends + Participate in technology roadmap planning and product strategy development Knowledge Management & Transfer + Build technical solution databases and best practice repositories + Author technical white papers and solution documentation + Train internal teams on new technology applications + Participating in technical conferences and industry events Position Requirements Essential Qualifications + Education : PhD degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field + Academic Publications : Demonstrated research publications across multiple technical domains, including journal papers, conference proceedings, or patents + Technical Depth : Deep professional knowledge and research experience in at least 2-3 technical domains + Rapid Learning Ability : Capability to quickly master new technologies and understand their application potential + Communication Skills : Excellent customer communication and presentation abilities, capable of effective interaction with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds + Industry Insight : Understanding of technological trends and challenges across multiple industries Technical Background Requirements Experience in at least three of the following domains: + Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (Must) + Quantum Computer + Cloud Computing Architecture + Internet of Things (IoT) Systems + Blockchain Technology + Data Science/Big Data Analytics + Cybersecurity + Edge Computing + Automation Systems + Robotics and Control Systems + Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology + Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Preferred Qualifications + Top-tier Publications : Research publications in prestigious journals (Nature, Science, IEEE series, etc.) + Cross-disciplinary Research : Experience in interdisciplinary research collaboration and multi-domain integration + Patent Portfolio : Experience with patent applications and intellectual property management + Academic Reputation : Recognition in academia, serving as journal reviewer or conference committee member + Industry-Academia Partnership : Rich experience in collaboration between academic and industrial sectors + Consulting Experience : Background in technical consulting or customer-oriented technical services + International Exposure : Experience in international academic exchange and cross-border collaboration + Technology Transfer : Successful cases of converting academic research into industrial applications + Professional Certifications : Relevant technical certifications or professional credentials + Training Experience : Background in technical presentations, academic talks, or talent development + Product management: especially for enterprise applications/solutions + Coding/software development experience a big plus #LI-KC1 Relocation Supported: No Visa Sponsorship Approved: No At Fujitsu, we are committed to an inclusive recruitment process that values the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all applicants.
