Description Location: Tampa International Airport, TPA Pay: $19.00/hour - $24.00/hour Main accountabilities include:u2022 Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines,hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.u2022 Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment.u2022 Maintain records relating to maintenance.u2022 Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.u2022 Ensure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care toequipment and timely repairs to broken equipment.u2022 Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and securitypolicies and procedures.u2022 Assuring a clean and safe working environmentu2022 Other duties and tasks as required.Safety, Security and Compliance All employees have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to:u2022 Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected bytheir actions or omissions whilst at work.u2022 Fully versed on International Aviation Safety and Security standards and passionate aboutpromoting them within the organization.u2022 Co-operate with their manager / supervisor to allow them to perform or comply with any legalrequirements imposed on the company. u2022 Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in theinterests of health, safety, or welfare reasons.u2022 Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents aserious or immediate danger to health and safety.u2022 Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager /supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.u2022 Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplacehealth and safety rules or procedures.u2022 Fully understand the company health and safety policy.u2022 Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company. Qualifications and Experienceu2022 3 to 5 years mechanical experienceu2022 Must be 18 years of age.u2022 Must possess valid driveru2019s license.u2022 Must pass pre-employment drug screen.u2022 Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.u2022 Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs.u2022 Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.u2022 Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.u2022 Must pass background check and obtain Custom seal.u2022 Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals.u2022 Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three monthsrelated experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
