Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for managing financial operations. The role involves handling a variety of bookkeeping tasks and requires expertise in QuickBooks. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to manage and maintain financial data effectively. u2022 Conduct research to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial regulations. u2022 Generate financial reports and statements for management review. u2022 Monitor and analyze financial transactions to identify trends or irregularities. u2022 Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes. u2022 Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping processes and efficiency. u2022 Provide critical thinking and problem-solving expertise to address financial challenges. u2022 Ensure timely and accurate handling of all bookkeeping responsibilities. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software. u2022 Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and financial reporting. u2022 Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to conduct research and resolve financial discrepancies. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
