JOB REQUIREMENTS: Logistics Specialist IIIin GAC Appleton Unique Skills:Attention to detail. Education and Experience Requirements High SchoolDiploma or GED required. 2 years experience in inventory/logistics.Advanced proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Officepreferred. Valid Driver's License required. Position Purpose: Underminimal supervision, execute complex material handling, inventorycoordination, and distribution tasks to support manufacturing andlogistics operations. Ensure efficient and accurate movement, tracking,and documentation of materials while adhering to safety, quality, andregulatory standards. Optimize inventory flow and support departmentinitiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to the teamwhile driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. JobDescription Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, andtransporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spareparts sales, backshops and/or distribution centers . Operate materialhandling equipment and company vehicles to move materials betweendepartments and designated locations . Coordinate material flow tosupport schedules and customer demands, including AOG and other criticalneeds . Resolve discrepancies and ensure regulatory compliance . Manageinternational shipments and documentation . Must be able to obtain CDI,Q, PQ, or RI stamp . Maintain inventory accuracy through proper dataentry and use of inventory management systems (i.e. SAP, Corridor, etc.). Support AOG needs . Demonstrate a commitment to safety and qualitythroughout daily operations by following established procedures,identifying potential hazards, and ensuring all work meets regulatoryand company standards . Handle, transport and prepare shipment ofDangerous Goods in accordance with DOT, FAA and other applicablestandards . Mentor junior staff . Elevate discrepancies with clearcommunication and follow-up actions . Support audits and reconciliation. Ensure adherence to brand protection and material handling standards .Ability to meet qualifications to obtain (one of) CDI, Q, PQ or RIstamps . Support inventory accuracy goals through regular and accuratecycle counting . Support inventory control processes by using handheldscanners for picking, putaway, and cycle count activities . AdditionalFunctions: Ability to obtain certification to operate material handlingequipment and meet all training requirements . Support Lean andsustainability initiatives .
