Developing our people iscritical to our strategy and fostering our culture of empowerment. . TheTruss Assembler I is responsible for assembling truss components. Thisposition will stock lumber, plates and other work-related materials andsupplies. Will also band/stack finished products. What you will do Lay out truss supplies and materials on carts or floor and stock platesfor component set-up. Assemble components under the direction of theline leaders. Load and band finished materials on carts/palletsinside and/or outside. Receive incoming products, commodities, andmaterials. Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes, plate gauges,girder truss nailing and bolt patterns. Read shop drawings to understandstacking order when required. Monitor production workflow processassisting other areas as needed. Operate all equipment necessary tothe assembly process. Adhere to established safety rules andregulations and follows all safety procedures; maintain a safeenvironment. Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintainingregular and predictable attendance. Assist in maintaining an organizedwork environment which may include emptying trash receptacles andkeeping all bays/staging areas clean and organized. Provide excellentcustomer service and participate in a positive work environment. Monitorinventory as required by location management. Retain an awareness ofthe work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error freeand damage free results. Participate in and complete assignedtrainings. Education Qualifications High SchoolDiploma or equivalent work experience required. ExperienceQualifications Prior carpentry experience preferred.
