Highway Maintenance/Large Tractor Mower

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary This position will be operating largetractor grass mowers along highways, medians and County roads, as wellas completing various Highway Maintenance tasks. The schedule isMonday-Thursday 6am to 4pm and will be from approximately mid May untilmid November. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid DriversLicense. Physical Demands Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift objectsweighing up to 75 pounds with frequent carrying of objects up to 40pounds. Mobility: Prolonged standing, walking, limited sitting, anddriving required. Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and feet forgrasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and operating controls.Physical Activity: Bending, crouching, stooping, and walking over rough,uneven surfaces; occasional twisting, climbing, and munication: Ability to communicate orally in a clear manner. SensoryAbilities: Ability to distinguish sounds at various frequencies andvolumes and visually identify people or objects at different distancesin varying light conditions.
