Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadershipand direction to team members, ensuring alignment with departmentalgoals and company priorities. Oversee daily workflows by assigningtasks, monitoring performance, and optimizing the use of resources tomeet production or departmental objectives. Support employees byoffering coaching, constructive feedback, and recognition of strongperformance. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to promote employeedevelopment, address concerns, and encourage career growth. Identifytraining needs and partner with Human Resources for ongoing developmentopportunities. Participate in the recruitment process, includingreviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and supporting hiringdecisions in collaboration with Human Resources. Conduct performanceevaluations annually and guide employees in setting and achieving SMARTgoals as applicable. Partner with Human Resources on employee relationsand disciplinary matters to ensure consistency with company policies.Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, andcollaboration within the team. Performs initial and ongoing designreviews both internally and externally. Submits a scope of work for eachproject that identifies budgetary numbers and the goal of each project.Reviews processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Workswith Operations Manager and Quality Manager in resolving quality issues.Identifies and participates in ISO / IATF related activities. Developsand supports systems and procedures to monitor and manage the quality ofperformance of outside vendors. Consistently maintains audit readinessthrough basic applications of process requirements. Provides leadershipto establish and monitor customer/supplier relations, strategic planningand develop initiatives and measurements to determine organizationalimprovement. Follow all safety rules and procedures. Performs otherduties as required.
