JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description This position is responsible for managingcustomer accounts and incrementally growing sales within assigned saleschannel.This position will develop sustainable relationships withcurrent customers, develop new customers, and grow profitable businesssignificantly over time. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Grow currentcustomer sales through a variety of sales activities. Develop newcustomers by prospecting customers, qualifying business, makingpresentations, negotiating relevant items, and successfully overcomingcustomer rejections to close profitable sales. Develop and deliver salespresentations and close sales with existing and new customers. Monitorcustomer sales activities and develop appropriate action plans thatrespond to customer needs. Collaborate with Marketing and otherapplicable departments to develop plans and strategies to meet customerneeds and grow profitable sales. Participate in budgeting process byforecasting sales and planning. Communicates regularly throughappropriate verbal or written communication with management regardingsales activities and outcomes, sales forecast, customer accounts, andchallenges. Responsible to develop and nurture strong customerrelationships Introduce and conduct training with clients on new partsor products Ability to effectively utilize Sales Point to maximize salesand revenues at a customer level KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Excellent oral and written communication skills including formalpresentation skills before both small and large groups. Basic tointermediate computer skills with MS office including Outlook, Word,Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to think creatively to overcome customerrejections. Ability to successfully adapt to and effectively deal withever changing business conditions. Demonstrated ability in problemsolving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing sales. Abilityto conduct business in a professional manner with both internal andexternal customers. Ability to travel to adequately manage customerbase. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1-3 years successful outside salesexperience 1-3 years successful business development experiencePreferred candidates will have experience within assigned sales channelor customer base. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed inthe field with customers. Driving as well as standing, walking, andsitting are essential functions of this position. When not working withcustomers, work is performed in a company office building. Liftingrequirements of up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis may be required.Wrist and finger manipulation due to computer work, calculating,compiling and filing.
