The Position:Under the direction of the Asphalt Plant Manager, the Asphalt PlantManager Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day operationsassociated with asphalt plant supervision and asphalt production. Inaddition, will be directing and coordinating the activities related tothe production of asphalt for internal asphalt customers and externalcustomers. Safety Lead, promote, and enforce safe work practices incompliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations by conducting regular safetymeetings, plant inspections, and audits. Collaborate with safety andmaintenance teams to ensure a safe work environment for all teammembers. Quality Control Analyze project technical specifications,create asphalt mix designs, and develop operational BMPs to ensure thatthe materials and processes meet project requirements. Coordinatematerial testing with technical services and plant personnel duringproduction. Consistently monitor test results to ensure materialsmeet specifications and manage risks to avoid penalties and projectdelays. Actively support continuous improvement initiatives tomaintain high quality standards for customers. Site Operations / AsphaltProduction Oversee 6-8 asphalt plant facilities with day/nightoperations including all supporting aggregate platform sites and plantpersonnel.
