JOB REQUIREMENTS: GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Estimator I assists salesdepartment in pricing projects. Work with all necessary departments toget input for pricing for standard and non-standard products andapplications. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Showcompetency for estimating projects up to $2 million dollars of precastvalue Introduce, coordinate, and solicit information, on new prospectsto the engineering, production, field services, sealants departments andassist with preliminary layout of the project Have good knowledge of thedifferences in vendors and what each of them can provide Solicitinformation and pricing from various vendors to complete an estimateProvides preliminary take off and budget for project cost studies andproduct promotion Provide hard pricing, including quantity takeoffs, forprojects in the hard bid market Develops final bid estimates andproposals including drawings and sketches and preliminary engineeringbased on product use, availability, and past project use Have theability and insight to provide
