The Project Manager for Liberty will be responsible for a broad spectrum of responsibilities, covering all the areas of project management including - Project Planning, Cost Management, Cost Estimating, Time/Labor Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of project management are successfully completed. The Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project specific estimating, submittal/RFI procurement, document control, constructibility resolutions, aspects of project accounting, project specific purchasing and safety, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.Oversee the construction project from start to finish.Developing project schedules and labor plans.Bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.Development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants.Project Estimating including all project changes.Submittal/RFI ProcurementEnsure proper Document Control both in the office and in the field.Working with the accounting office to ensure that all aspects of Project accounting functions are complete.Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.Communicate effectively with the field staff/construction managers/clients/sub contractors.Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with our field staff.Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.Weekly inspections of construction sites.Attend weekly project meetings.Identify, propose solutions to constructability issues.Weekly report of project status.Candidate understands that they are being hired as a PM, but needs to be willing to where multiple hats (PM/APM/Asst. Est./Asst. BIM/ETC.)Candidate understands that they are being hired for the Northeast, but must be willing to travel to Florida, etc. if needed.Candidate must have a complete understanding of the current status of company and must be excited to help build a concrete company!A four-year Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.Knowledge of CAD and BIM Software’s preferredKnowledge of Project Planning and Cost Estimating.A strong understanding of the importance of project safety.Excellent communication skills.Highly Organized.Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.Ability to plan, organize and schedule.Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of our workers.Capacity to handle pressure.Willingness to travel across New England to various construction sites.Eagerness to learn and a love for construction.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
