Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Orange, California. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing billing and accounts receivable functions with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Input daily work orders into Excel and create detailed billing worksheets. u2022 Generate accurate monthly invoices, including progress billing and time-and-materials invoicing, using QuickBooks. u2022 Monitor contract values and additional work to ensure consistent and correct billing. u2022 Prepare and manage documentation such as pre-liens and lien releases. u2022 Handle accounts receivable tasks, including light collections when necessary. u2022 Maintain high levels of accuracy and organization across all billing and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. u2022 Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all tasks performed. Requirements u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks for invoicing and accounts receivable tasks. u2022 Advanced Excel skills, including data entry and report generation. u2022 Previous experience in accounts receivable and billing roles within the Construction field. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities. u2022 Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. u2022 Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team environment. u2022 Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
