Your role and responsibilities As a User Experience Designer, you will focus on creating seamless, engaging experiences by designing the underlying structure and information flow for products, services, and systems. Your work will involve applying human-centered design principles to optimize interactions and define UX goals based on research findings.Your primary responsibilities will include: Design the user experience architecture, including functions, information, and interactions, to create a seamless and engaging experience for users. Develop navigation pathways and content organization strategies to ensure intuitive and user-friendly interactions. Apply human factors knowledge, such as Hick's Law and Fitt's Law, to optimize interactions and improve the overall user experience. Consider user context variations, such as culture, environment, and activity, to design experiences that meet the needs of diverse users. Integrate technological, operational, and functional constraints into human-centered opportunities to deliver effective and feasible solutions. Required technical and professional expertise Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience designing end to end customer journeys in accordance with Human-Centered Design Principles: Familiarity with human-centered design best practices and their application in designing user experiences that are both accessible and intuitive. Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience with Figma, Mural, Adobe Creative Cloud. Exposure to designing user experience architecture, including functions, information, and interactions, to create seamless and engaging experiences. Figma, Mural, Adobe Creative Cloud Understanding of developing navigation pathways and content organization strategies to ensure intuitive and user-friendly interactions. Familiarity with considering user context variations, such as culture, environment, and activity, to design experiences that meet the needs of diverse users.Security ClearanceMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance Preferred technical and professional experience Exposure to design tools and software that support human-centered design principles, such as user research and testing tools, to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences. Familiarity with interaction design principles and patterns that promote intuitive and user-friendly interactions, including those related to navigation, information architecture, and visual design.
