Accounts Payable

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable specialist to join our team in Bedford Heights, Ohio. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will oversee high-volume invoice processing and ensure accuracy in handling supplier shipments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the success of a major customer while leveraging your expertise in accounts payable. Responsibilities: u2022 Process large volumes of supplier invoices with precision, ensuring timely and accurate payments. u2022 Manage drop shipment procedures, including coordinating with suppliers and verifying order details. u2022 Support the operations of our largest customer by maintaining efficient workflows and resolving discrepancies. u2022 Utilize Excel to organize and analyze financial data, improving overall efficiency. u2022 Follow a structured five-step process for handling supplier shipments and related documentation. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to approve invoices and maintain compliance with company policies. u2022 Address and resolve accounts payable issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. u2022 Maintain detailed records and documentation for audit purposes. u2022 Provide support in streamlining accounts payable processes and identifying areas for improvement. u2022 Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and reporting standards. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets. u2022 Strong understanding of general accounts payable processes and procedures. u2022 Experience handling high-volume invoice processing, preferably 2,000-3,000 invoices per month. u2022 Familiarity with drop shipment processes and supplier coordination. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. u2022 Strong communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams.
