The ideal Medical Billing Specialist will have: u2022 Oversee the billing process and ensure all reconciliations meet compliance standards for government contracts. u2022 Coordinate and maintain agreements with national healthcare providers. u2022 Assist applicants in scheduling and managing specialty exam visits. u2022 Review medical records to verify compliance with government contract requirements. u2022 Document errors in exam processes and generate necessary follow-up communications. u2022 Act as the main point of contact between applicants, provider offices, and government contract officials. u2022 Address escalations and resolve issues raised by provider offices. u2022 Perform data analysis to identify discrepancies and improve billing accuracy. u2022 Handle additional administrative tasks as needed to support operations. Requirements The ideal Medical Billing Specialist will have: u2022 High school diploma or equivalent required u2022 Minimum of two years of relevant experience and a college degree or equivalent experience. u2022 Knowledge of billing functions, claims administration, and appeals processes. u2022 Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Excel. u2022 Familiarity with tools such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and EHR Systems. u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills. u2022 Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Prior experience with data analysis and medical billing systems.
