Sign-on bonus available up to $2,500 for Full-Time Roles + Schedule: 6:45pm - 7:15am, Night Shift, Full-Time (Shift Differential; Nights & Weekeends) + Department: Emergency Dept Behavorial Health + Location: NHRMC - New Hanover Regional medical Center What You'll Do Works under the direct supervision of Nursing Leadership. Performs a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Is also responsible for completing a variety of department specific tasks to assist with optimal department safety and functioning. What We're Looking For + Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. + Experience : Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable, preferred. + Licensure/Certification: Nurse Aide I, required. American Heart Association BLS required. Some departments have additional advanced CPR requirements as listed on staff annual education record, required. Phlebotomy Certification,required. + Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. + Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of medical terminology.
