NOC Technician

Description We are looking for an experienced NOC Technician to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining and optimizing network operations while ensuring seamless connectivity and support for critical systems. Responsibilities: u2022 Monitor network systems and ensure continuous performance and stability. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Norton Utilities on Windows platforms. u2022 Manage Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) configurations and operations. u2022 Support and optimize Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN) for enhanced connectivity. u2022 Oversee the installation and maintenance of cable assemblies to ensure robust network infrastructure. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related challenges and implement solutions. u2022 Conduct routine system checks and generate detailed reports on network health and performance. u2022 Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency. u2022 Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members and stakeholders as needed. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in network operations or as a NOC Technician. u2022 Proficiency in using Norton Utilities on Windows systems. u2022 Strong understanding of Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and its applications. u2022 Familiarity with Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN) and related technologies. u2022 Expertise in handling and maintaining cable assemblies. u2022 Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently. u2022 Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. u2022 Commitment to staying current with advancements in networking technologies.
