Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will provide essential technical support to ensure seamless operation of computer systems, mobile devices, and related technologies. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach to addressing technical issues. Responsibilities: u2022 Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktop computers and mobile devices. u2022 Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop workstations, including Windows 10 systems. u2022 Provide support for Active Directory administration and related user access requests. u2022 Ensure proper imaging and deployment of desktop hardware across the organization. u2022 Assist with the installation and maintenance of office automation tools and software. u2022 Deliver remote and in-person technical assistance to employees as needed. u2022 Document technical issues and solutions in detail for future reference. u2022 Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex system problems. u2022 Conduct routine system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance. u2022 Educate users on best practices for utilizing technology efficiently. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in a help desk or customer support role within IT. u2022 Solid knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Windows 10. u2022 Familiarity with Active Directory and desktop imaging processes. u2022 Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical problems effectively. u2022 Strong communication skills and proficiency in English. u2022 Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure. u2022 Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. u2022 Technical aptitude and willingness to stay updated on evolving technologies.
